| Many groups in the Milwaukee area have Irish and other Celtic interests and foster and promote Celtic, Irish or Irish-American culture. Interests range from genealogy to dancing, currach racing and hurling to art, theater and music. Although these groups have no official linkage to the ICHC, the Center, in keeping with its role in promoting and supporting the culture, encourages you to explore the variety of interests shown here and to contact any of the groups directly for more information on how you might participate in their activities. |

The Trinity Irish Dance program uniquely centers on the empowerment of each child, with lessons focused on self-confidence and choice, allowing each child to decide their own level of participation in Irish dance. Students are never required to compete, but are always allowed the opportunity. Instructors use a distinct, noncompetitive teaching method that places children on a “journey” through Ireland, teaching the beauty of the dance form as well as cultural and life lessons along the way. | Information
